Michael Korrel

Come on 2020!

2019 what a year it was. I started 2019 with a first game loss at the Paris Grand Slam and ended the year as World Judo Master and #XNUMX on the world rankings!

My team and I experienced some bad moments during the season, including injuries and losses in the first round. But we always believed. We also had some great moments. I won my third gold medal at a Grand Slam and my first ever bronze medal at the World Championship in Tokyo!

I look forward to continuing the journey towards my next goal; The Olympic Games in Tokyo! When this takes place depends on developments surrounding the Corona virus. But I remain positive and focused!

Olympic dream moved to 2021

The year 2020 would be the year in which my Olympic dream would come true. After a beautiful victory at the end of 2019 during the World Masters in China, I was well on track.
